Political commentator Lou Dobbs has died at the age of 78.
Former President Donald Trump, whom Dobbs publicly supported, announced the passing on his Truth Social account.
“The Great Lou Dobbs has just passed away — A friend, and truly incredible Journalist, Reporter, and Talent,” Trump wrote. “He understood the World, and what was ‘happening,’ better than others. Lou was unique in so many ways, and loved our Country. Our warmest condolences to his wonderful wife, Debi, and family. He will be greatly missed!”
He famously questioned if former President Barack Obama was born in the U.S. and prominently supported Trump and his policies during Trump’s term in the White House.

When a reporter asked Biden about the supposed schedule change to curtail events after 8 PM so Biden could get better rest, he flat out said, "that's not true."
1). This confirms something many here have suspected since after the debate — many stories coming from "anonymous insiders" should be taken with the tiniest grain of salt. So, that story about the "dozens of Dems" who are reportedly getting ready to call on Biden to step aside over the next few days? I would wait until tomorrow to see if that has any real chance of actualizing.
2.) "I love my staff, but they add things" — quoted by Biden after he debunked the reporting of the 8 PM curfew. If his staff is relaying false information to reporters without his knowledge, they need to be fired immediately. He said that he loves them, and I don't doubt it, but they should be reprimanded to the most appropriate degree when they lie about the President. What the fuck was his staff thinking? Do they WANT the media to go after Biden? Why the hell are they making up shit about him and remaining employed? If he knows who's spreading bullshit and gossip to the press, he absolutely needs to fire their asses. They aren't helping him whatsoever and just fuel the media spectacle.
I don't like playing "backseat driver", but I'm going to here: Biden needs to discipline his staff when they "add things" that are not true to official reports. Is his staff full of clueless morons?
Congressman Moulton expresses 'grave concerns' about Biden's ability to beat Trump in election

In a statement released Wednesday, Massachusetts Congressman Seth Moulton says he’s concerned about the current status of the presidential race, especially as it pertains to the age of President Joe Biden.
“I deeply respect President Biden and all the great things he has done for America, but I have grave concerns about his ability to defeat Donald Trump,” the Democratic congressman said. “When your current strategy isn’t working, it’s rarely the right decision to double down. President Biden is not going to get younger.”
The comments come as several Democrats rushed to meet with Biden after his shaky debate performance, including Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey. The meeting was expected to address concerns about the debate.
President Biden was quoted earlier Wednesday saying, “No one is pushing me out...I am running. I am the leader of the Democratic Party.”

I will note that this is the third former 2020 Democratic presidential primary rival to come out with "concerns" about Biden… I find that to be an interesting pattern.

How? This tweet has been trending all day long. Fuck me. Biden is as bad as Hitler now? I truly do not understand how someone can be so ungodly arrogant while spouting one of the most ignorant takes possibly ever written. The comments are somehow even worse.
We are a nation full of genuine, unadulterated, dishonest morons who appear to have the inability to think like a rational person. I can only hope that semi-rational, apolitical independent voters outweigh whatever brand of voters this is, because if not… Then fuck.
I'd also like to personally say "fuck you" to Cornel West, Jill Stein, Claudia de la Cruz, etc. for encouraging this brain dead sentiment by refusing to step aside, endorse Biden/democrats, and put the country before your personal grievances.

Or did it seem like Trump was given more opportunities to answer questions and offer rebuttals than Biden did? I'm not promoting a conspiracy theory or anything, and I could be wrong if the data shows the opposite, but it just seemed like Tapper & Bash asked Trump more questions…
Dutch Volleyball Player who Raped 12-Year-Old British Girl Qualifies to Compete at the Paris Olympics

Steven van de Velde was sentenced in March 2016 to four years in prison after admitting three counts of rape against a child he had met on Facebook. He had flown from the Netherlands to the UK in August 2014, when he was 19, to meet his victim.
Judge Francis Sheridan told him: “Prior to coming to this country you were training as a potential Olympian. Your hopes of representing your country now lie as a shattered dream.”
Except Van de Velde, who was released after serving just 12 months at a Dutch prison, has since been allowed to rehabilitate his Olympic career, this month sealing his spot in the national pair at the Paris Games alongside Matthew Immers.
